Mad Libs Monday, August 30th

It's the Back-to-School edition of Mad Libs Monday! Since everyone has schooled the single, end-of-phrase Mad Lib for the past two weeks, we are going to try the Honors version this week. That means it's slightly difficult to pull off and only the smart kids are doing it, like AP Chemistry and selling Ritalin from your dorm room. All right, here we go and no cheating!

I used to ______________ school, but only because ____________.

If you've been paying attention, class, you'll notice that there are two, multi-word blanks. Don't let the blanks intimidate you. A good entry, for example, might be: I used to bring a bag lunch to school, but only because the lunch lady refused to wear a hairnet over her mustache.

Cream of the Crop from August 23rd

This turned out to be a very educational Mad Libs Monday for me. I learned so much about things that I probably never wanted to know and, now, can never forget. If only you could wipe away memories as easily as your blue-stained lips caused by an affinity for Blue Raspberry-flavored anythings. Yesterday’s Mad Lib,

gave many of you that very idea. Many entries included Sci-fi movie and TV references, i.e. Mentats, Romulan Ale, and Avatar. And, thankfully, entries mentioning The Smurfs were present and accounted for. While I’m thinking about it, if anyone has any “Smurfs Communist Conspiracy Theory” college-level papers, please forward those. I just … I just want to read them. I’m NOT collecting them for my new website HowTheSmurfsKilledKennedy.blogspot.com. That’s simply crazy.

Boy does time fly. It is already our SECOND Mad Libs Monday of all time! I never thought we'd make it. To be honest, when I'm feeling blue, I always think back to the hour of good times we've shared. Speaking of blue ... this week's Mad Lib is your chance to color me impressed.

Who knew the #MLM hashtag had so many committed followers? Apparently, multi-level marketers really want to talk to me. From what they said, Acai berry is blowing up and I'm really going to miss the boat on a great opportunity if I wait any longer. Bummer! I'll have to change my hashtag to #MadLibsMonday unless someone else has a better idea ...

And just to answer a question that I've received: this blog is pro-profanity. Also, pro-pancakes.
